Very secluded campground. We were there in January for two nights. Rain chased away the other campers who were there in a tent so we were the only campers there -- stayed in a small travel trailer. Campground was clean and well maintained. The trails were nice although because of the rain we were not able to do much exploring.
Beautiful campsite with spigots, lots of shade, a creek and a little swimming hole and a camp host straight from a Disney story. He has pet ravens and knows all the animals around the grounds. $14 fee, half off if you have a national parks pass.
Beautiful campground and quiet space. A creek runs by many of the campsites and if you follow it for 10 min are treated to a fun little waterhole. Tim, the camp host, is really friendly and has pet squirrels and ravens.
Very quiet campground. Great for family picnic day
Rolled in late, no problem. Set up and slept great. Woke up and found that there was a pit below our picnic table full of ants and other bugs. Not a big deal. Went to scope the bathroom and was hit in the face by a plague of poo flies, literally. I'm not exaggerating. A cloud of flies... born from poo... will hit you in the face. Great for anyone self contained but why pay more for unusable amenities? May have been sickened by drinking water. Might want to test for arsenic, etcetera. Sick for following two days with head pain and nausea.
